Young Buck Could Lose His Name In Bankruptcy Case, Deal With Cash Money In Jeopardy

Young Buck just can’t get a break as G-Unit’s outcast could possibly be beat with the most deadliest blow yet… the loss of his stage name… “Young Buck.”

Young Buck, real name David Darnell Brown, could also lose  other assets in a bankruptcy case that the MC says is also blocking him from signing a new label deal with Cash Money records.

According to The Associated Press, Davidson County Bankruptcy Judge George Paine converted the artist’s bankruptcy from Chapter 11 reorganization to Chapter 7 liquidation this week.

The trustee administering his estate has said she plans to sell the trademarked “Young Buck” name along with other assets.

To date, creditors have submitted 22 claims totaling $11.5 million in Buck’s bankruptcy case, including $10 million that the record label G-Unit Records says Buck owes them over a contract dispute.

Respect The DJ’s

If you ask yourself why DJ’s charge so much for their performance… They don’t get paid vacation, they don’t get paid sick days, they don’t get bonuses for outstanding performances nor for Christmas. they don’t have insurance plans nor do we qualify for unemployment. they sacrifice their family on special days so that they can bring happiness to others.

Illness or personal affairs are not excuses for a bad performance. Also, the equipment they use is expensive and needs to be compensated for along with their invested time to prepare music for your event and the time they have to spend at your event.  So next time you ask, remember that DJ’s are DJ’s because of the love of music, but that love doesn’t pay debts. Happy DJ Day!! Share if you’re a DJ or have good friends that are dj’s

SPECIAL ONE DEAD: CONSCIOUS DAUGHTERS MC DIED IN BAY AREA

Special One, the MC who, as one-half of the Oakland-based duo Conscious Daughters, repped for female rhymers in the mid-’90s, proving that dudes didn’t have the monopoly on hard-edged West Coast rap, was found dead on Saturday (Dec. 10), Yahoo! Music reports.

She was discovered in her apartment by Carla “CMG” Green, her partner on the Daughters’ three studio albums: ‘Ear to the Street’ (1993), ‘Gamers’ (1996) and ‘The Nutcracker Suite’ (2009). The cause of death is not yet known.

“Thank you to everyone for your prayers I need them,” Green wrote on her Facebook page. “I am sick over the loss of my sister.”

Born Karryl Smith, Special One achieved modest fame in 1993, when the group’s debut reached No. 126 on the Billboard 200. The singles ‘Something To Ride To (Fonky Expedition)’ and ‘We Roll Deep’ were both minor hits, and the Daughters earned plaudits for mixing street attitude with female empowerment.

Rachel Crow’s Shocking Elimination From ‘X Factor’

“X Factor” is no stranger to drama, but Thursday night’s drawn-out elimination between 13-year-old Rachel Crow and aspiring Usher-to-be Marcus Canty was gut-wrenching. Ranked at the bottom two (with this being Canty’s third week in a row), each contestant delivered — Canty singing “I’m Going Down” by Mary J. Blige, and Crow giving a deeply felt, deeply emotional performance of “I’d Rather Go Blind” by Etta James that seemed beyond her years.

But the drama started out like so: both LA Reid and Simon Cowell loyally stuck with their mentees, with Simon unsurprisingly being the most obnoxious about it. “You’re going home Marcus,” he dismissed. So then it was up to the ladies. Paula Abdul stuck with her girl and chose Crow, and, for a moment, it seemed almost certain that Crow would pass on through to the semi-finals. But that’s when the camera panned to a sobbing, seriously distraught Nicole Scherzinger. Cue hysteria. Cue stuttering. She couldn’t make a decision. “I know how it feels and I adore both of you… I have to go to deadlock,” Nicole said, even if that meant she voiced out loud that she was sending Crow home, to even out the voting. How does that make sense? Why was Rachel, a mere teenager with a ridiculously cherubic face, consoling Nicole over her decision?
